Howdy y'all! I'm back after almost 6 months of silence! Sorry about that - Life got in the way and for a while I wasn't up to doing anything. However, I'm almost done with college, so soon I might have more time to do things and maybe hangout with friends who I didn't have time to hangout with before. Though...in the fall of this year, I plan to attend Tarlton and get my Game Design degree there, since T.S.T.C. has scrapped the degree plan (yay for me, right). I'm nervous about going to a new school, but I'll be fine!
Anyway, first things first: The Diary is back on Amazon! After getting nagged at by my friends and a few family members, I put it back online! Nothing's really changed with it, but that's fine - not every book will be a masterpiece and this book (no matter how much I cringe at the writing) is still my baby. Now that I got that out of the way, the next novel I plan to finish is the first of an epic series called Last of the Darkthorns Book 1: Journey of the Lone Star! The series follows a young witch named Lucida Darkthorn and her quest to find her best friend Rune Marrows, who went missing one night 2 years before the start of the series. Joining her is Lupus Blackwood, guardian of the two girls; Mr. Allens, a man searching for his kidnapped daughter; a twin-headed demon standing guard over a mysterious skeleton; and a cryptic jester called Rhodes who just might know more than he lets on. This ragtag group quickly discover that Lucida's quest has uncovered many problems simmering unnoticed in the five kingdoms and, if they are to find Rune, they must save Thoyra from collapsing.
In other news, I've ceased working on The Misty Caverns for now. A few things have changed regarding the main character, so I've put the game on hold. However, I'm working on a new game called Save the King! It follows three young heroes journeying to save their kidnapped king from the Seaweed Witch (what is it with me and people getting kidnapped). I hope to have the game done in two years, but no promises~! I'm not using a pre-made game engine, but creating my own from scratch and it's challenging, yet fun! I'll post screen shots of game play and concept art soon, so keep an eye out!
That's all for tonight. Remember: Laughter is the best medicine!
